Night of Sep 28/29, Luftwaffe losses
 

Hi all,

Has anyone got information pertaining to Luftwaffe losses over Belgium or Holland in the night of Sep. 28/29, 1944?

Were there any JU 88's claimed by Mosquito night fighter pilots over Belgium or Holland that night?

Claims:- 2 He111 over North Sea by 25 Sqn
1 Ju87 over Hasselt by 219 Sqn
1 Ju188 by F/L M.Phillips of 85 Sqn (unknown location).

Thanks for your answer.

With regard to a JU 87 shot down by 219 Sqdn that night I found the following information:

28 Sep 1944 - 29 Sep 1944: 100th Claim
During the night of 28/29 September, 1944, Parker and Godfrey (219 Sqdn) claimed a Junkers 87 destroyed, bringing the Squadron's total of enemy aircraft destroyed to 100.
