Schuck at MAAM

The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's website http://www.maam.org/maamwwii.html for the 2007 "World War II Weekend" lists among its many special guests . . . Walter Schuck ! The event is June 1 - 3 in Reading, Pennsylvania.

He will meet there again Joseph "Joe" Peterbus", the man who shot him down on 10th of April 1945. Today both are close friends and will sign the attached poster during MAAM. BTW, the image Escort Fury was printed by courtesy of the artist Robert Bailey. All the best, Horst

I met Walter today at the MAAM Air Show. He had a nice selection of prints to autograph. There was oppresive heat in the hanger, but he was in good spirits, even when one guy had six books for him to sign. Several guys also brought model planes for him to sign. One of his assistants said his books sold out in the first 45 minutes on Friday.
