F/L Henning Pedersen, 489 (RNZAF) Squadron
 

I'm trying to find further details on the Danish pilot Henning Pedersen, 489 (RNZAF) Squadron.

My main source of information on him is Thomson's New Zealanders with the Royal Air Force (Vol. II) (1956), http://www.nzetc.org/tm/scholarly/te...5.html#fn5-125

I have not been able to trace him in London Gazette, but this is not unusual regarding Danish RAF personnel.

London Gazette has reference to a Henning Pederson, though. Ldg. Acm. Henning Pederson (1311893) is promoted to Pilot Officer on probation on 12 November 1941 (111952). On 1 October 1942 he is promoted to Flying Officer on probation and on 12 November 1943 to Flight Lieutenant.

I'm wondering weather this could be the same man. Would anyone here be able to help?
