Major Trautloft's wingman for 28May42?

In BCRS #2 Christer Bergstrom has Serz. Zakharov listed as shot down by Trautloft's wingman but no name. In JFV 9/III there is no one listed in the claims by the Stab/JG54 for that day. Does anyone know who was flying as his wingman for that sortie?
Best Regards,
Michael

I have one for Nowotny as will at 19.51. Does Bergstrom give any indication as to time of day? My guess is Nowotny since the 2 9.Sta. guys made claims withing a few minutes of each other.

Nowotny's claim was to late in the day for the bomber raid. This seems to have been over Lake Ladoga which appears to be closer to Schilling. Trautloft's war diaries are still only in German so I don't know what it has there. Bergstrom has it listed as early in the day.

Hi

Trautloft wrote in his Tagebuch nothing about a victory from his Stab. He wrote the second attack on the evening to ships, Flak and the Harbour on Lake Ladoga fly the JG 54 with 61 planes an 90 bombers. Four enemy fighters risk a attack on the big raid, one was shot down in flames, possibly the vic from Novotny.

It wasn't Nowotny as I checked another source. The first wave of 6 I-16's took off at 09:45(Moscow), 2nd wave of 8 I-16's at 09:47 (Zakharov's flight) and 3rd wave of 8 I-16's at 09:56. St. Lt Gennadii D. Tsokolaev was attacked it seems 1st and was WIA but made it back to the airfield. Vasilii N. Zakharov was then shot down near Zelencts Island and KIA. So it appears to have nothing to do with Trautloft's wingman. Rechecked both PlQu and they are over Lake Ladoga so maybe Schilling's claim was Tsokolaev and Zweigart got Zakharov.
Thanks,
Michael
