Regarding the photo album, the Ju 86 and Ju 88 are identified as the "Kleeblattgeschwader." I know that "Kleeblatt" translates as "clover sheet." What the hell unit is that?

Thanks,

Kleeblatt = leafed clover

So perhaps it's a Geschwader with a clover emblem... There are three at Christoph Awender's site:

A look at the photo shows a shield and three leaf clover within which leads me to believe that it is Flugzeugfuhrerschule 8.

That might also explain the bad landings!
