Ju-88 IV./KG 77 crash in Belgium
 
On 30/07/1942 the crew off the damaged Ju-88 A-5 werknumner 4237 from IV./KG77 bailed out near Nieuwmoer in Belgium. Gefr Bahmer Albrecht the radio-operator was wounded , who were the other crewmembers and what happened with them ?

Hello,

This ran out of fuel near Antwerp whilst on ´Feindflug´ (i.e. Operation aganst the nenemy), crew baled out, BF Albrect was injured (not stated if wonded in action), presumably whilst baling out or on landing by parachute - then always a risky business.

Hi Alain,

here some additional infos from WASt:
Ju 88 A4, 10./KG 77, 3Z+FU, on Feindflug against Birmingham.
Bordfunker Gefr. Albrecht Bahmer slightly wounded when parachuting from a/c. No information on rest of crew.
