Any comment on this series of publications?

Les Ailes Francaises 1939-1945, No. 3: La Campagne de France (1) - De la Meuse a la Somme (10 mai-3juin 1940)

French language booklet-series, which covers different themes about the WW2 French Air Force respectively the air war over France. Beside depictions of the events, biographies are included, airplane types and unit-histories are presented as well as much much more. Each volume shows about 150 contemp. photographs (even some in colour), about 60 colour profiles and around 15 scale drawings in 1/72.

Re: Any comment on this series of publications?

I have the first three volumes of this series and I'm going to complete the collection with the others in due course.
I found them quite interesting -in particular the first volume on the French Air Force between the wars a period that was a complete mistery for me.
As I discover with other books by TMA Editions they offer good value for their price. These booklets in particular, give a quick but good, coverage of the French Air Force operations in W.W. II that -being interested on, but not an expert of- the subject, I liked very much.
