Hi,

In 1937 the output in airplanes was so big, therefor the RLM with an order 23. Sept. 37 of the industry transferred the
competence over the issue more own, only temporarily of valid signs for military aircraft for the transportation of the seat
of the manufacturer or repair company to the official places.

FO-xx Focke Wulf, DJ-xx, NO-xx, HE-xx Heinkel, CE-xx BFWMesserschmitt, DN-xx BFW(Regensburg), JU-xx Junkers.
First 2 letters company, second 2 letters free choise Example: a HE46 für Aufklärungsstaffel had the ID. BU-RE.

Hi there...

With regards DE+MP, according to Luftwaffe Verband magazine (Issue 16, Oct'98) which has a photo of this and another Bf110:

"Two Messerschmitt Bf110C-4's of the Ausbildungskdo.fur Zerstorer fly over Budapest Hungary in May/June 1944. The nearest aircraft DE+MP was WNr.3274 and still retained the yellow fuselage band of it's former owner 6./ZG1"

The photo is credited to the Bundesarchiv (BA 669-7340-27A)

Kind regards,
