JG 76 a/c questions

Gentlemen,
I found the following question marks in my loss lists of JG 76 in 1944:

Bf 109 G-14, 413 738: I have two entries, both 11./JG 76:
-lost with Uffz.(?) Günther Kleiber NW Paris on 25.08., coded as ye.13
-lost with Ofw. Schilling near Diez on 05.09., coded as ye.14

Bf 109 G-14, damaged (?) 18.08. w. Fw. Nüser: I have listed Werk Nr. 420 219, which could not be correct.

Bf 109 G-6/U2/AS, lost 13.09. with Gefr. Burkhardt: I have listed Werk Nr.413 813, but the a/c with this particular Serial No. was delivered by Erla in early November 1944! (Thanks to "Rasmussen" for this information.)

Corrections are welcome, thanks in advance.

Re: JG 76 a/c questions

Hi Heuser,

Werknummer 413813 in fact is 413.815 (G-6 U2/AS)

420.219 and doubles for 413.738 are exactly what WASt reports. All three notes are clearly readably, no doubts, no room or interpretation. :-(

Re: JG 76 a/c questions

Carl,
thank you very much for your information regarding Gefr. Burkhardt's 109.

413 738: maybe not an a/c loss in France, only a killed pilot? (My list shows 100% damage on 25.08.)

420 219: I've got no idea about the real number, but definitely a typo...

Regards, heuser
