B-17F 301BG? crashed Gatwick 2/10/42
Can anyone provide any more detail on this a/c?
The a/c force-landed at Gatwick on 2/10/42 probably at 1630 hours. On this day the 97BG and 301BG had attacked a/c industry targets at Meaulte/Albert in Northern France. It seems that only 301BG suffered losses - 6 a/c damaged and 3 WIA. Thanks Steve |
