http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=290120611459 Not quite off topic. Lovely Caspar S.I if you track down the page a bit....:) Good work, as usual. Seems you do have a small fan-club on these pages.... Cheers Stig |

Thank You Ed!
That Dora http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140121780651 is it a W.Nr. 600651, white 15?? |
Re: Photos 5-24
...my initial thought was that it could possibly a II Gruppe Fw190D-9, WNr.211118 coded "White 10 + -" of 5./JG6 surrendered at Halle-Nietleben. There are a couple of images of this D-9 on page 144-145 of JaPo's "Fw190D Camouflage & Markings Part 1"

Re: Photos 5-24
Yes, it looks similiar in first look but Peter please note that splotches on the lower cooler housing as well as the engine cover too. The colour division line on cooling flap is seen here and no on that other one.
I have compared three photos of "15" with this on new (to me) photo and I found some similiarities, so I carefully guess that might be it. cheers Kuba |
Re: Photos 5-24
Hi Kuba...
Just so I can compare, where are these images of "White 15" to which you refer? Peter D Evans LEMB Administrator |
