Me 262 and marks
 

Hi,
i am very intrested in the Me262 and all is versions can any one tell me how many versions of the 262 where made and tested. i have build two
me 262's one being a glider the other a full two turbine jet with an 80 inch wing span. i am now working on a project to make as many me262 marks as i can in 1/48th scale models. so can any one help with the marks of me 262 and and info would be very usefull. also in to any of the jet rockets that the lufftwaffe where tring out.

Only main variants:
Me 262 V1 - First prototype initially fitted with a piston engine to test flight characteristics, later fitted with two BMW 003 turbojets
Me 262A-0 - Preproduction aircraft
Me 262A-1a Schwalbe - Production single-seat fighter interceptor fitted with four 30mm MK 108 cannons in the nose
Me 262A-1a/U1 - differed from the standard A-1a in nose mounted armament: two 20mm MG 151 cannon, two 30mm MK 103 cannon , and two 30mm MK 108 cannon
Me 262A-1a/U2 - was fitted with a FuG 220 Lichtenstein SN 2 radar array
Me 262A-1a/U3 - Reconnaissance model with two Rb 30/50 cameras
Me 262A-1a/U4 - single-seat fighter interceptor fitted with single 50mm MK 214 cannon
Me 262A-1a/U5 - fitted with six 30mm MK 108 cannons in the nose
Me 262A-1b - Single-seat interceptor fitted with BMW 003 engines
Me 262A-2a - Sturmvogel Single-seat bomber based on the Me 262A-1a with additional bomb racks and 2 cannons removed
Me 262A-2/U2 - bomber with clear nose for second crew member and his bomb sight
Me 262B-1a - Two-seat trainer
Me 262B-1a/U1 - Early two-seat night fighter equipped with a radar in the nose
Me 262C-1a - test a/c with additional rocket engine HWK in fuselage
Me 262C-2b - test a/c with underwing jet & rocket BMW003R engines in place of Jumo 004

Many thanks for the info. Also if any one can tell me where I can get any film footage of the me262 in any form? would be nice to see.
