Gloster Gladiator
Hi,
If this post is inapropriate then please delete it and accept my apologies. I am working on a 2nd edition of my Gloster Gladiator book, which will hopfully be published later this year. It will contain a lot of info that was not in the original edtion, this will be an accumulation of more than 25 years research. There will also be some new colour profiles and an extensive walkaround section. As this will be a much larger book, probbaly A4 size then I would like to add more photos. So if anyone can help with photos of the Gladiator and the pilots that flew it I would be extrememly grateful. Please contact me either by PM or by email. "Biplane Fighter Aces from the Second World War". http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/index.html Another site that is very knowledgable on biplanes of WWII is: Stormo http://stormomagazine.com/phpbb2/index.php |

Re: Gloster Gladiator
Hallo Alex,
Not quite what you asked but in the June 2007 issue of a French aviation magazine there is what appears to be a long and excellent article on the use of Gladiators by the Greek Air Force. I briefly thumbed through it at Charles de Gaule airport. I cannot recall the magazine name but I believe it was not AERO JOURNAL or AVIONS. Maybe our French colleagues can assist ? Regards, Martin Gleeson. |
