georg claus jg 51
hi, can any one tell me if georg claus of jg 51) was killed in a f model and was killed, on 11 11 40. ive googled nothing,tonight,on him is there any photos of him too,

Some records say he was in an E-1 Wk Nr 3635, others an E-1 Wk Nr 3935 but Prien says it was an F-1 Wk Nr 5635. It would have been unlikely a pilot of his stature would have been flying at E-1 at that stage of the war. He was lost 11 Nov 40 and I have at 2 photos of him but both taken when he was with JG 53

hi, chris thanks but was he killed, too, in a book he was captured,but another says killed, ?
its amazing he was a 3rd ace top i believe with 19 victorys ,nothing ever been writen on him. gary |

He was definitely missing in combat with 17/64/257 & 603 Sqns

Very few f models at that time the first arrived mid-october, a handfull at that time were produced by Me 5634 was among of them, nd plagued with problems
