H. Ray Burkhart Lt. col B17 co pilot

Hi,
If any body can tell any info on my late pal H. Ray Burkhart he ended his service in about 1968 as a Lt col. He started his in the US Air Corps at 19years old a few old bi-planes trainers then converted to the then new B17 bomber I would like to find out a bit more about Ray's war service and his time in the Uk and the Far East any news would be welcome.
