Seems to be the "diving raven" of I/StG 1 :)

Hello,

I/StG 1 is my opinion too.
It could be 3/ StG 1 as the Staffeln of I Gruppe had the same emblem
surounded in white - 1 Staffel, red - 2 St and yellow- 3 St, which seems the case of the photo, the raven's nose being yellow.

Cheers

Marc

Holá amigos,

I would like to pour some colour into this thread, see attachment. The photo is especially dedicated to dora9forever. Gary, at first I was a bit riddled about your typing, but now knowing the background.....thank you for your bravery and keep on posting. The little raven is called Hans Huckebein and has been invented from a 19th century poet and cartoonist named Wilhelm Busch. More famous are his verses about Max und Moritz with accompanied cartoons.

Cheers
Horst Schmidt
