Question about a new book - Barbarossa: The Air Battle - July to December 1941

Anyone know how this would compare to his Barbarossa volume for Classic Publication's Jagdwaffe Series.

I have the full Jagdwaffee series, would this new book be repetitiously redundant?

Not sure of availability, but would your answer also be the same for his STALINGRAD - THE AIR BATTLE

My understanding is that it must be closer to "black cross, red star" vol 1...

So another question would be to know if "BC RS" serie will continue or not?

Christer, could you help us to know more about?

Thanks, Olivier.

I'm pretty certain that there's different approaches in BC RS and the new series as well. I can't recall what exactly, and Christers page is down at the moment...

BCRS will continue as well as far as I know.

I believe that he said that on his website that is down that the Stalingrad book would just deal with the fighting around Stalingrad. Hopefully answering some of the air battles with only one side that was in BC/RS #3. His site for BC/RS is still up. I'm glad he's writing micro battle books for Stalingrad and Kursk that way maybe we can get more of the picture.

No is the simple answer...both these new works are much more detailed, have more on the strategic overview, new personal accounts, no profile artwork and (in comparison with the BC/RS series) have been proofed by a native speaker so are much more 'readable' ....
