Loss Bf.110 Erg/ZG76 27th or 28th May 1941
 

Dear all,

On 27th or 28th May 1941 Bf.110 Werknr 3917 ditched on the North Sea, 45 km W of Petten. Both crewmembers FF Lt Löffelmann and BF Gefr Scheuermann were rescued by a fishing boat and brought ashore at IJmuiden, The Netherlands.

Perhaps somebody can help me with the exact date of this loss. Two German sources, naval KTB's, are not celar about this.

Perhaps also the full code of this Bf.110 and full names of the crewmembers are available on the GQM loss returns?

The GVM don't gave any notices on the crew, too quick recue.., the unit Erg.gr.ZG76 date 28.may location 3°30 O 52°45 N, forcelanding at see BF110E-1 3917

Thanks for the info. For the record, the crew names were mentioned in the Kriegstagebuch des Marinebefehlshabers in den Niederlanden.
