FW Wilhelm Budke

Good Day;

I am looking for any information on the Biography of FW Wilhelm Budke he flew with 2/JG53. I am also looking for any information concerning JG53 when it was stationed in the Mediterranean during the Siege of Malta, how involved was JG53 and what planes did it fly. Also events possibly leading up to Budke's shooting down of PO Gordon Murray 603 Squadron RAF on 22 April 1942. Thanks in advance.

Ralf:

Thank you for the information, it appears FW Budke's Combat Career was not long. Another victim of the Stalingrad campaign, Are there any websites or books which deal with JG53, I see from your note that along with Mediterranean Operations JG53 was also in USSR ops, Is your first paragraph about Aircraft Budke flew or planes used by JG53, Second paragraph I assume is 22 April 1942 details for JG 53. Thanks again for the information, I'll be waiting to hear from you.

Cheers,
