My question is: Why is there a Bf-108 on the cover?

It is not a Bf108. It is a Bu181 and in the final weeks of the war they were armed with 4 Panzerfausts and used to attack Russian tanks. There were articles in both Jet & Prop and Flugzeug on the subject.
