Coastal Command Review - Search for Photo

My father, while with 233 Sqn flying Hudsons, took a photo of the Queen Mary (well off coast of Spain) driving through a monster wave that almost came up to the 1st funnel. This photo was evidently published in the Coastal Command Review around 1943.

I am trying to find a copy of that photo or at least the page with that photo to give to my Dad.

If anyone can assist with locating records of this periodical or who might actually have a copy of the volume with this photo I would be greatly appreciative.

Hi Daryl!
A fantastic story indeed. Have you tried the Imperial War Museum or the RAF Museum at Hendon? They do have a great quantity of photographs stored there. Try to write them. I think they will be of great help to you.
I will try to find out what I can do for you meanwhile.
Cheers
Adriano

The National Archives at Kew, west London has copies of Coastal Command Review and they are free to view. They are stored in four volumes, with the references AIR 15/470 to 473. Their policy allows people to copy or digitally photograph documents so if you cannot find a print of the picture, you can make your own or pay them to do it.

Hope this helps,
