Re: KG 100 Augustus 1944
Ulf Balkes book on KG 100 covers this as well. For 15th Aug he shows a Do 217 of 7/100 as ditched following being hit by ships AA crew rescued by Spanish fishermen, Do 217 6N+AS crew missing, and Do 217 6N+GT crew baled out. Target for all three aircraft is given as shipping off St. Raphael using Hs 293s with no further crew losses after this. Hope this helps and ties in with Nick's site,

Re: KG 100 Augustus 1944
Hello Brian
Don’t worried it was clear enough but I have disparate information on that day and I want gathered them , I have get an information that Blab’s A/C was the WNr-4733 6N+GT and was the missing crew but it seems that following your data’s it was rather the 6N+AS Many thanks for your help as from Nick . Regards Phil |

Re: KG 100 Augustus 1944
Hi Flupke,
if you interested by KG100 Fritz X operations against the allies you can have a look at that story : http://aerocherche.fr/index.php/arti...ond-du-gouffre we found the remains of two Do217 of KG100 that crashed on 15 June 1944 in the Pyrenees, after a raid to Normandy against the allies boats. I am available if you want more info on these aircraft. GC |
Re: KG 100 Augustus 1944
Hi Phil,
Or have a glance on the last Jean-Louis' book... but you won't find inside the NVM. ClinA-78 |
