Fleet Air Arm allowed claims Norway 1940
 

Hey

Is there any out there that have some information regarding FAA claims against German aircraft over and near Norway Apr 40 to Jun 40.

I am interestwed in the following FAA squadrons
800 SQN 801 SQN 802 SQN 803 SQN 804 SQN 806 SQN

The claims is to be analysed against known Luftwaffe losses in this area.

Also interested in claims from RAF Bomber Command and RAF Coastal Command in the same periode and area.

By the way I have alreadycollected a claim list regarding RAF Fighter Command
46 SQN and 263 SQN

You'll find excellent detail in Chris Shores book "Fledgling Eagles - The Complete Account Of Air Operations During The Phoney War And Norwegian Campaign, 1940."


There is a mass of detail on FAA operations for Squadrons 700, 701, 710, 769, 800, 801, 802, 803, 804, 806, 810, 815, 816, 818, 820, 821 and 823.

there is a list of all to me known Gladiator claims from 802 and 804 Squadrons (and all other Gladiator claims over Norway). These claims are as much as possible verified against known Luftwaffe losses.
