Luftwaffe books

Hi, nice to meet you.
I have a small questions for all of you: I received some months ago two pocket books of whom I haven't any precise idea about their historical value. So before to give them(as a present!) to some air museum, I would to collect some news about their diffusion and use.
The first is:

The following is a teared off page probably from different book:

The second is as italian.german air dictionary referred to tecnic aeronautics words :

Many greetings.

Would you like to sell the book in the first image to me?

Sorry! I don't sell them but I prefer to give to some air museum.
Best regards

Re: Luftwaffe books

Twinwasp,

While wanting to donate them to a museum is noble of you, in most probability the books would sit in the museums collection and never see the light of day. Making it nearly impossible to see the information that they contain.

Perhaps you should keep & translate them or if you have no interest in the Luftwaffe you should sell them to an interested collector?
On this forum most members will go out of thier way to share any Luftwaffe information they may have in thier own collections.

Regards,
Mike

Twinwasp, I echo Ravi16's words. It is very noble to donate but he is right that in all likelihood they will sit on a shelf or casually perused.

You say you would like to learn more about them. Let someone know if you need any help here.

Best,

Re: Luftwaffe books

I often find collectors demanding 'something in turn', so I am really not so sure if it is always a better choice rather than some library or museum.

Dear edwest, wiegand and revi 16
probably all of you are right. ......
In any case I haven't an idea about the value of books, for this reason i'm looking for some informations.
The first book has 1300 pages, dim. mm. 115x150x80(h)
