Wekusta 2 losses Oct to Dec 1942
 

Could anyone supply loss details for Wekusta 2 in this period please. the recent book indicates crew losses on 4th. Oct and the 4th, 6th. and 16th, Dec. 1942,

The loss for October 4th 1942 is listed with the following information:

I can however not find any trace of losses for the dates you mention in December 1942.

Not in the summary losses, not in the Genst.Gen.Qu.6.Abt. loss records and not in the Flugzeugbestand und bewegungsmeldungen for the unit.

So I do believe this must be a small error, or the people referred to has been ground personnel, or the unit has failed to file the loss records??

Andreas many thanks for the info. the book shows Ff. Fw. Gruner and Reg.RatDr Fritz Hanst killed on 4-12-42 (corrected to 4-10-42 as your loss sheet ), Ff Hpt Rudolf Prasse + 6-12-42 the 16-12-42 was my error.
George the book is 'Wekusta' by John A. Kington and Franz Selinger ISBN 978 0 9545605 8 4 ,
