RAF Propellor is.... it wartime?
 
Hello,
I have a propellor about six feet five in height, wood laminated definatley RAF with the below wording and number on it....Any ideas to its age and what type its from? It has a metal leading edge and is painted black with a yellow tip.

Reading a few books last night has made me feel this could be from a late Seafire or late Mark Spitfire.
The other four serial numbers above and below the main one are its sister blades.

Any thoughts?

Jon, I'd post this query over at the Flypast forums, might be more chance of someone having the technical knowledge sufficient to ID it.

You could also contact someone like the Historic Aircraft Collection, somebody who works on warbirds should be able to help.
