Could anyone provide information concerning an Oberfeldwebel Ludwig
Martin, pilot, who was lost on the 23rd March 1941on a flying mission. Was he lost on a mission against England? Could you please provide

Rick: You seem to ask this sort of question quite a lot; perhaps you might like to share with us a scan of what must be a death card for these aircrew?

Hi Chris,

Please find attached sterbebild as requested - hopefully!!
Looking at After the Battle - I wondered if he was involved in attacks on Plymouth during night of 20th-21st March 1941?

Thanks Chris,

If not on a combat mission do you know what he was doing?
Rick

P.S. Do yo have any books in the pipeline as I really enjoyed your fighter bomber book over the U.K.

All it says is non-combat and cause of crash not known.

I have taken a break from book writing this year due to promotion/changes of job but will start writing again soon. I have a contract to write a book on nocturnal fighter-bombers for Classic which I am about to start and will be out mid-next year, I am also concentrating on articles
