Recce Mission over Augsburg in Sept'39
 

Dear All,
During the "Drôle de Guerre", the French Air Force performed plenty of recce missions over the Germany.
On Sept'39, a recce mission to identify the railway activity was performed from Kaufleuren to Umh thru Turkheim & Augsburg. Over Augsburg, it is mentioned " seen clearly the airfield with hangars (5 or 6) in East edge of the airfield. The airfield is located to North, North-East of the town, 3 km aproximately"

Does anybody have an idea of this this related airfield?
