Luftwaffe personnel records

I am trying to find out about my father who served in the Luftwaffe through most of the 2nd World war. I have found a website from a German archive that holds all the existing records of members of the Wermacht who were kiled in action in the war. Does anyone know if there is a similar archive with all the records for Luftwaffe personnel who survived the war?

Hi Barry,

The Bundesarchive at Koblenz will provide you with service details of your father's career if you provide his full name, date of birth etc.

Hope this helps, David.

IMHO personal files are moved in Bundesarchiv from Aachen to Freiburg, not to Koblenz.

Please take a look here http://www.bundesarchiv.de/ and contact archive. They are quite helpful, but you will have to fill quite a bit of paperwork ...
