Question about Lt. Max-Hellmuth Ostermann while with I./ZG1 in 1939-40.

I'm working on a detailed account of the history of I./ZG1 in 1939-40, as part of a much larger project. Can anyone tell me to which Staffel in that unit Lt. Max-Hellmuth Ostermann was assigned at the beginning of the war? He apparently scored no victories during the time he was was this unit, until he transferred to 7./JG54 in April, 1940.
