Gustav's Sun Umbrella holders

I have a question about these two fairings attached to fuse side in Tropical Gustavs.
There was a particular mounting kit for it, or were factory introduced from a certain batch in a determined Wnr. range?

Could anybody post manual diagrams or drawings?

Regards

Hi! Our experience with G-2Trop 10639 is that these umberella mounts are "Trop" specific. Because they are merely screwed-on pieces of shaped wood, they could possibly be fitted to any 109. However, I have not noticed a pic of a obvious "field-mod" Trop, but, it is possible. Sorry, don't know if field-mod Trop "kits" existed as such. Don't forget, "Trop" kit includes lots of other bits and K98 in the the fuselage.
Best wishes, SM

I've seen those mounts on several Bf109G-6's that served in the RVT, a unit that comes to mind is JG1 but I'm sure there are others... If these were aircraft originally intended for the mediterranean, I don't know...
