Maj Wilson John H 355FG-357FS was killed on 14/02/1945 due to a crashlanding with his P-51D-10-NA 44-14260 named “ Becky “. Can someone tells me where this happened ?

Re: Maj Wilson 355FG-357FS crashlanding

Wilson went in near Foffe (sp?) Belgium making an emegency landing just into Allied lines. He was badly hit by a German Flak train. He was buried in Foffe, moved to Neuville - and listed at Cambridge Memorial close to Steeple Morden

Regards,

Bill Marshall

Edited - believe Fosse is correct instead of Foffe
