Re: Do 18G transfer flight late 1941

The date of this accident was actually 19.12.1941. Unit: 3./906. 8L+AL, W.Nr. 867. 100% in Pl.Qu. 27 Ost/5159 east of Nordkapp (Cape North). The plane was wrecked when making a forced landing in open sea. The cause was fire in one engine. The plane was on a transfer flight from Tromsö to Banak seapl.stn. The crew was rescued by S.S. "Rönöy". No casualties. No names of crewmembers given.
