Gentlemen,

if I get this right you are discussing the photo at the bottom of the Strausberg site that is referred to in the opening post, labelled there as a Bf 109 G-10/4 of II./JG 11 in March 1945 at Strausberg.

This however is not really meet with the facts because what we see is a Bf 109 G-6 Y of 7./JG 11 seen in Northern Germany - most likely at Oldenburg airfield - in the summer of 1943. It belonged to 7. Staffel of III./JG 11, then newly established. This and another photo of the same a/c has been published in our current JFV series in Vol. 10 / III, p. 4, photo # 004.
