Many thanks for the additional information about W/C Dudgeon, DFC. I did not know about his earlier career, before the outbreak of war, neither his post-war career. Found an Air Vice Marshal Dudgeon who was awarded an OBE but did not know he was the brother of W/C Peter.
Have you flown under his command? Do you remember him? What was he like? ( as OC )?
