I am attempting to compile a detailed list of the 'kill' claims submittted (and subsequently verified) by George-Peter Eder, and have thus far discovered the following concerning his credited 78 kills:

Using Les Butler's & Tony Greenwood's exhaustive site 'Combat Claims and Casualties' I have located 64 kills that were confirmed by the Reichs Luft Ministerium (RLM) and 1 which was not granted.

Of the 64 kills, 16 Me-262 kills are recorded, although I have read (Obermeier among others) that his Me-262 kill total may of been 26? and his overall total being 78 and not 64.

My question is where has this disparagy came from? As I said I can only locate one kill claim turned down and no mention of the additional 10 claims to make the 26 kills using an Me-262.

As a point of note, I am also attempting to compile a list of Heinrich Baer's kills and I noted that his claims were submitted and approved right up until the end of the war.

Any help at all in tidying this matter up will be very well received indeed.
