Attack on the Sheffield
On 30 May 1941 the crusier HMS Sheffield and the 8th Destroyer Flotilla were attacked by Vichy French aircraft east of Gibralter and west of Oran. Does anyone know the units ect involved? Here is what I know from the book "HMS Sheffield: The Life and Times of Old Shiny":

1212 "2 Marylands" attack
1220 "2 Bloch 174s" attack
1223 "1 Maryland" attack
1252 "3 Blochs" attack Sheffield damaged by a near miss
1748 "8 Marylands" attack

I think the Vichy French Air Force belongs in this the Axis Air Forces in this case.
