27 Sept 1944 Spitfires action
Hi all
I am looking for any info on Spitfire units action over Arnheim and Nijmegen against Bf 109s (of I./JG 76) on September 27, 1944.
Germans claimed five (5) Spitfires shot down over area Emmerich and Apeldorn.
As well five planes Bf 109 were shot down.
Can anyone post here claims of spitfire pilots for that day, losses of Spitfires on 27.9.1944 ?
If there is more known on this combat, I would appreciate to read it/know it.
