I am seeking the individual code letter for this aircaft 9D-?
It collided with a wingman over the Isle of Wight on the 23 July 1944 and crashed at Brading. Pilot Lt Leonard Murphy baled out OK.
The other aircraft came down in the sea, pilot Lt Marvin Burr missing.
