3. Nachtaufklärungsstaffel operated in the area of army group north. The Soviet reports I mentioned above are from the Kuban area (army group south). Does anyone know which Luftwaffe unit could have flown the DO-217 in this area in 1942-1943? My guess is that it was a reconnaissance unit.
