Hi all,

Eight Halifaxes of 502 Squadron took off between 1230 and 1330 to find and attack Osorno. They bravely pressed home their attacks in the face of intense flak thrown up by the blockade-runner and her escorts. One aircraft claimed to have scored a hit on the German ship but in fact Osorno survived unscathed.
