Re: Airfields Radzyn and Rogoznica

I just received an update from Larry deZeng concerning the field at "Rogoznica":

Rogozniczka (52 02 N – 22 52 E)
General: landing ground in C Poland (E Poland today) 44 km ESE of Siedlce and 8 km NE of Miedzyrzec Podlaski. One of the numerous airfields developed by the Lw. in eastern Poland 1940-41 in preparation for the attack on the USSR in Jun 41.
Air Units: (go to Google and enter: Rogozniczka site:ww2.dk ).
Station Commands: Fl.H.Kdtr. E 3/IV (Jun 41); Fl.Pl.Kdo. A 17/II (Sep 41).
Station Units
On 22 Jun 41: Lw.-Bau-Btl. 6/XIII; Lw.-Bau-Gerätezug 9/XI; m.Fl.Betr.St.Kol. 4/IV; Trsp.Kol. 20/XI; Ldssch.Zug 240/VI and 299/VI.

Larry is working on a hugely expanded airfield compilation and the above material is one of the consequences. Thanks Larry!
