There now seems to be two threads on the same subject.....???!!

As I noted in other thread, (Here: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=21354) this seems to be a 23888 and yet it does not have the four bolt retaining holes as part of the casing. In some respects, it is similar to the FL 22600 which was an aircraft instrument panel clock and I wonder if it is a variant of that but with a 23888 type face/numerals?

I am not sure that the 23888 was a Duty Clock (ground based radio operators/watch office clock) or an aircraft instrument panel clock. The 22600 was certainly an aircraft clock, but some reference sources do not show the 23888 as an aircraft clock per se.
