Re: Do17P of 5.(F)/22 engaged 11 June 1940
On 11 June 1940 a MS-406 flown by Sgt Antonin Zavoral (a Czech serving with DAT Chartres) claimed a Do 17 over Ablis (30 kms NE of Chartres). After he fired all of his ammo during four passes, he fired also from pistol (!)
It is possible it was a Do 17P of 5.(F)/22 damaged over Central France, Hptm. Böhm (StaKa) WiA.
