There is also the book by Veit Scherzer, Ritterkreuzträger 1939-1945, published by Scherzers Militarie-Verlag Ranis, Jena 2005. ISBN 3-938845-00-7. 823 pages, only a small number of photos. I ordered my copy from Amazon.de, since Christian Schmidt does not carry it. It lists *all* Wehrmacht RK recipients, in alphabetic order. Date and place of birth, date and place of death, rank, unit, date(s) of award(s).
