Can't really add too much to this thread at present, other than to say your photograph was probably taken prior to the raid on Liverpool and Hull on the night of Wednesday 7 May/Thursday 8 May, 1941. Info from Larry de Zeng and Doug Stankey's
Bomber Units of the Luftwaffe 1933 - 1945 Vol2, page 236, would seem to indicate this. The information is also provided under the section relating to III.Gruppe/KG76.
