Re: 5./KG76 Emblem?

Thankyou Robert, what could this mean to the distribution of emblems or aircraft throughout the gruppe. Could it mean that gruppe's aircraft were in a bit of a muddle during this period?

"Following the French campaign, II./KG 76 was disbanded and merged into III./KG 28 on 9 July 1940. However, oddly, the Gruppe was reformed on the very same day, as it was decided to rename III./KG 28 back to II./KG 76. The unit also converted to the Ju 88 at this time. For operations over Britain II./KG 76 was moved to airfields at Creil and Cormeilles-en-Vexin in France."
from Wikipedia.

Just seems strange that we have photographic proof that both 5./KG76 and 9./KG76 aircraft sporting the upward 3 arrow on a white and red shield emblem.

Thanks for your time anyway gents I suppose I will just have to hope that ebay throws something up in the next decade or so. I'm also wondering if the KG76 Association could help with this but I am not sure if it still exist's seeing as the guy who ran it Diether Lukesch (Hauptmann KG76) unfortunately passed away in 2004. Does anyone know if the association has been taken on and still in existence?
