As I said elsewhere, I will dig out the ORB details for you shortly although Brian looks as though he has already been down that route.
It is quite likely that at that chaotic time, Sgt Bann was posted to the squadron but never got to fly with them - or else never caught up with his allocated unit before being posted on. Further, many ORB's at that period were less than complete or accurate in what they recorded which, sometimes, was surprisingly little.
