Hi Im always interested in Heinz Volker issues as he crashed later on in 1941 just some miles from where I live. Volker certainly did make a claim for a Hamden at 00.30hrs 28th October 1940 "near Scampton" as you are probably aware matching records and claims is considerably difficult. For this night Volker is usually credited with two 49 Squadron victories :- Hamden X3027 which crashed in sea half a mile from Skegness and the crew are missing and Hamden X3001 which managed to land at Lindholme with minor damage, crew all safe.
