Re: Help in tracing where a plane came down
Lancaster JA935 took off from Oakington, Cambs. 16.59 hrs for a raid on Braunschweig and was shot down by a night fighter around 19.10 hrs north of Waggum, what is N of Braunschweig. All were initially buried at Querum, in 1947 reinterred in the Hanover War Cemetery.
